For the next part of my journal I experimented further with my previous ideas and starting contextualising the work. I made portrait pieces with one being how Bruno Munari makes portraits and the other which is Bruno Munari’s portrait. I think I could try and merge these two pages together but I am unsure whether to continue with this idea as a single portrait probably doesn’t communicate enough of my research. I tried this technique again with an academician’s portrait with huge bold lines invading the portrait to show how the style of postmodern design has become more popular compared to traditional portraiture.

Journal context development
